I have had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Hajiyev during the duration of my course of "History of Architecture", when I had the chance to observe characteristics of earnestness and extreme propriety in his character such as high sensitivity, calm tenacity and creative endowments. I could appreciate, as well, his unique intellect constituted by his personality, deriving from a deep cultural background, his ability to learn quickly and his intellectual vivaciousness. I was also surprised by his fast gaining competence of italian, another language that he was adding to the numerous ones he could already speak.
